About Red Stag Gates and Fences
Our History
The Watkins family purchased Red Stag Gates and Fences in 2018 and has worked hard since then to create a High Quality Custom Gate and Fence Design & Build offering.
Our family has a long history in the commercial steel fabrication industry in Auckland, and expanded our company offerings with the addition of the Gate & Garden Brand in 2020 as a specialist design service and premium Internal Brands of quality gate & door hardware online.
Our mother brand since 1975 Auckland Steel Fabrications, formerly a commercial structural steel fabricator now manufacturing heavy duty engineered mild steel and wrought iron gates is our first love.
Whatever you need for your garden hard landscaping project whether it be design and engineering, gates, metal planters, water features, outdoor sculpture, corten panels, artwork, safety gates, automation, steel, wrought iron or aluminium, we have it.

We strive to provide our customers with the best products and services possible.
We are dedicated to providing unique solutions to difficult geometric problems incorporation a wide range of light and heavy duty gate styles, and pairing with our Premium Gate Hardware International Supply Chain Partners with big names such as Assa Abloy Sweden, Comunello Italy, D&D Technologies Australia, Locinox Belgium, Centurion South Africa, DEA Automation Italy.
We continue to strive for the highest possible quality gate installations that will provide long term security and peace of mind.
We also offer business opportunities to individuals who want self employment with the support of our design, fabrication and hardware supply.
Our Facilities
We design and fabricate our custom metalwork products in Auckland NZ and can ship throughout NZ and Australia.
Our manufacturing processes and partners include all round capabilites in CAD, Laser plate cutting, Folding, Tube Laser, manual fabrication and TIG and MIG steel and aluminium welding.
We use only the best powder coaters who offer professional results in Dulux and Interpon powder coating systems.
